This is how it works:
Let's start off with listing local spots and /or foods cooked within your home. We can have discussions or ratings...if anyone has any other ideas bring em' on!
favorite fried chicken - drumstik bbq on main st favorite pizza - beverly's pizza on ffld ave. favorite chinese food - tiget bowl in southport (SO WORTH THE DRIVE)
etc.
also wanna post a link to a website that is awesome for all fatties.
www.bigoven.com
if you go to the left hand side it says "use leftovers" - click that and enter 1 - 3 ingredients in your house and it'll give you a recipe to make. MARVELOUS!
I'll start off with: Metric bar & grill 39 Cannon street Bridgeport, CT
Fatty Gonzalez and I recently discovered this spot while at a local event downtown; (Thursday's on the green, represent humble D!!!)
We never noticed this spot because it's sort of hidden on a one way street, but boy are we glad we found it.
What we've tried so far: -Maryland Crab and Corn Chowder w/ roasted red peppers -Metric Oakwood smoked Poulet
Both were amazing!! The clam chowder is very hearty, first time i had corn in a chowder and it was amazing. The Oakwood smoked poulet....to die for. Thinly sliced chicken breast, red onion, bacon, romaine scented herbs:D and roasted garlic aioli on a toasted baguette. mmm mmm good! I don't think I've ever experienced a sandwich with such a perfect mixture of flavors. This is a must try!
im in love with the chicken cordon bleu (sp) from some place in the milford mall!! cant remember the name!!
ReplyDeleteexcellent blog idea!
